Handsome and tall, the Herero Women of Namibia wear a bold extravaganza of magnificent dresses and turbans. The Herero women adopted the leg o' mutton sleeves, the tightly-buttoned high bodice and full gathered skirt from the wives of the missionaries, translating these basic elements into a style distinctly their own.
