African Dreamtime
As if hewn from volcanic rock, African Dreamtime is a study in texture and contrasts. Flawless skin and delicate bone structure are revealed beneath the rough forbidding exterior, inviting the viewer to question the concept of beauty, to look beyond the harsh exterior to the woman within. With regal bearing she is absorbed in her own thoughts, quite unconscious of her revealed beauty.
